Nowadays, HDTV is very popular for people who want to have excellent picture quality. So, in this short article, I want to share about Samsung LN32A450 update and its reviews to help you make the best choice for HDTV.
Samsung LN32A450 has new features upgrade from its last year model such as 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (up from 8,000:1) and 6ms response time (down form 8ms). This product is already ENERGY STAR® Qualified, it means that this HDTV is an energy-efficient product which helps us protect the environment and save money by lowering our energy bill. At this time amazon give special price for this HDTV with 21% discount + free shipping, and to help you getting to know this product a bit better, there are 226 amazon’s customers give their 5 stars reviews for this HDTV.
From many customers’ reviews, this HDTV is easy to set up, the remote and menu software are well designed, it has better picture quality than other 32″ HDTV ($800-900 price range) and you can get a good picture with a few minor adjustments. But there are several weak points about this product such as the sound is a bit weak and the stand is a little unstable. At last, it is all depend on your decision to choose the best HDTV, but you can consider this product as one of you choices. Also, my MacBook is only working in a less definition setting, and its display is no longer widescreen… Is there any way to revert that as well?
Thank you!

Why are Hdtv Reviews so Important?
Filed Under hdtv | Comments Off
Charles Nelson asked:
Whenever we read HDTV reviews, a question arises in our minds. What is HDTV all about and why the sudden craze for it? Well, HDTV stands for high definition television. It is a television broadcast medium which makes use of digital technology. HDTV is broadcast in widescreen format and Dolby Digital is the audio used. The integration of all this advanced technology results in superb images, life-like videos and crystal-clear sound. In fact, the picture quality we get is so superior, that it sometimes gives the effect of a real theatre experience.
There has been a great influx of HDTVs from different companies all over the world. Different brands are being launched with the idea of catering to the various sections of people everywhere. Along with the launch of these HDTVs, comes the added responsibility to educate the masses regarding the various features and specifications of these HDTVs. Thus the importance of writing reviews of HDTVs. HDTV reviews are meant to allow the people to compare the features and cost-effectiveness of different brands before indulging in one.
Importance of HDTV Reviews
The purpose of reading HDTV reviews is generally to conduct a research on different TVs before purchasing one. These reviews are the information gathered by different people who have bought and used these HDTVs. They provide valuable insight into the working of these units. TV reviews bring out both the advantages and disadvantages of a set. After reading these reviews, you are able to reach a decision about buying the most suitable brand. Sometimes, these television reviews write about the after-sales service of the manufacturers. It helps you to decide in favor of a particular brand if you know that there are a number of service centers in your city with friendly employees who will tend to any problem that you might face. However, internationally renowned a company might be, if it cannot solve the inherent problems of its gadgets immediately, then it loses its credibility.
The Obsession with HDTV Ratings
Most HDTV reviews include HDTV ratings as part of their write-up. These ratings go a long way in helping you to make an informed decision. The ratings are usually given in the form of stars between 1 to 10 and 1 to 5. The more the number of stars, the better the product is. TV ratings improve with advanced features, clear specifications and a promise of warranty and technical support. You will surely opt for a HDTV with superior features only if it provides good technical support a long time after you go through with the deal. The TV ratings are based on these factors. A user will always give a 10/10 rating to a HDTV which not only has the latest features and specifications, but is technically well supported and is optimally priced. Most of the HDTVs available today are mindful of these and are introducing lifetime technical support to boost their sales.
Overview
HDTV reviews are thus the windows to a world of technological know-how. Based on these reviews, you can decide whether to purchase a Sony, Vizio or Samsung HDTV. If you are entirely taken by the review of a particular brand, then you will not hesitate to loosen your purse strings to spend a little bit more. HDTV reviews will give you the inner satisfaction that you have bought the best.

Learn How to Connect the Computer on Hdtv
Filed Under hdtv | Comments Off
marktobby asked:
If you wish to learn how to connect your computer on HDTV then here is some help at hand that to understand the procedure.
How To Connect The Computer To The HDTV?
Both the computer and HDTV share common interfaces. This makes matters simple for us as the primary concern has been taken care of. Read on to know the procedure better:
The commonly found interface for computers is DVI and that for HDTV’s is HDMI. If both these interfaces are present on your computer and your HDTV then you are lucky as all you have to do now is to buy a cable that can support your computer’s output resolution to that of your HDTV’s. However, doing this can be a problem because at times cables that can support the same resolutions would not be easily available. So it would be better to pick a HDTV that can accept all standard PC resolutions.
You can also convert your computer on HDTV by using the VGA component, DVI or HDMI that enables HD signals. Try and pick the digital standards as this way you would be able to use an adapter from DVI to HDMI (they both use the same signaling technology).
Once done, plug in the cable from the computer on HDTV after ensuring that they both share the same resolution. If possible, try and use the displays on a native resolution like 1280×768.
You could also look for the desired resolution by using the Powerstrip software. Once installed you would be able to locate the required resolution levels.
If your HDTV still does not accept the resolution then you are left with no other option but to either buy a video card that supports the output component or buy a VGA with a component converter.
As long as the resolutions match, any of the above mentioned methods would enable computer on HDTV

Tips Before Purchase New Hdtv

Ikki asked:
Today many people are becoming understand the terms LCD, HDTV and Plasma and for especially the recent working generation the main question is not if they will spend hard earned cash towards a HDTV of choice but when they will spend it. Plasma TV technology is getting better every year. There’s no good reason to buy last year’s model, if the new models are already out.
Knowing the essential of HDTV before you enter the electronic store means you won’t be sorry after you bring home your big new purchase. When looking for HDTV info for purchasing decisions you may feel that you will never get your head around the technical aspects of this area.
Here some tips before buy HDTV.
1. Know the difference between the main types of tv screens: CTR, LCD and Plasma and each of their advantages and disadvantages. Make sure you go with true HDTV. And absolutely make sure the set has at least one HDMI connection port that supports 1080p and supports HDCP,
2. Bigger isn’t necessarily better. Just because you can afford a monster-sized HDTV doesn’t mean you should get one.
3. Eye the viewing angle Most plasma and LCD sets look great when you’re watching straight on, but the picture may become washed-out as you move to the side, especially with LCD displays. Make sure to check for yourself (walk all the way over to one side for the shallowest viewing angle possible) before you buy.
4. 1080p or 720p? Depends on the size of the set. For HDTVs that are 40 inches or smaller, you’ll be hard-pressed to see the difference between 1080p or 720p. If we’re talking 42 inches or larger and you’ve got money to spend (lucky you), I’d recommend 1080p—you’ll pay more, but you can really see the difference, especially if you’re planning on using a Blu-ray player.
5. Know that there were major technological advances made towards the way that the tv screen manages the pixel colors to create better flowing movements. Choosing an older type may make your “new” tv age faster and you may have to replace it earlier than you might have expected to.
6. Good connections. Make sure your new HDTV has an HDMI input with HDCP support. While most HDTVs have component (red, green and blue) video inputs to connect to your cable, satellite tuner and DVD player, double check to make sure. Two or more sets means no swapping cables between cable and DVD and Xbox 360, for instance.
7. Surrounded by Sound. Now that you’re feasting your eyes on a super hi-def picture, don’t forget the sound. HDTV boasts Cineplex-like surround sound – providing you have a receiver and speaker system to hear it. Make sure to use the “optical” or “digital audio” sound outputs from your HDTV cable or satellite or video game box when you connect to the receiver – that way you’re sure to be surround by the best possible sound around.
That’s it some tips before you go to electronic store for buy HDTV. Considering both the fact of the risk you are taking if you buy the first HDTV that you see (because you may fall in love with it), and the fact that the prices are coming down the longer you wait, then ultimately you are safer waiting but then if you never make the decision you may loose out on the experience of HDTV.

How can i receive digital channels on my antenna hooked to my HDTV?
Filed Under hdtv | Comments Off
Kirk B asked:
I got a Toshiba 37″ HDTV that has the digital converter built in. I have an antenna and I’ve hooked it up, played with settings, and there is still no digital signal coming in at all. There was a “digital test” on TV earlier, and I “failed” it. Is there something special with the type of antenna I need? Currently, I’m trying to get my RCA ANT1020 antenna. Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

There was a “digital test” on TV earlier, and I “failed” it. Is there something special with the type of antenna I need? Currently, I’m trying to get my RCA ANT1020 antenna. Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

How can I get my HDTV to work as my computer monitor full screen through my HDMI Cables?

Autumn S asked:
We hooked a HDMI cable from my PC to my HDTV. When I run a music video in full screen, I hear sound but the screen freezes. Is there something I need to do to fix this? My graphics card is a good one, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 and the HDMI cable is 50 feet. What can I do?
