I just bought a 26″ sharp lcd hdtv. The picture is fine, but the speakers are very disappointing. the tv does have a digital output audio. what kind of external speakers/woofers are compatible with this tv? what components will be needed? i reckon a conventional computer speaker wouldn’t work.

   The tv is small one for bedroom you get these relatively cheaply these days.
   For if the analog audio output and run that into set of pc speakers with subwoofer.

   An inexpensive surround sound system from walmart they can be had pretty cheap.

   An amplifier matching speakers if you dont go this route the same wattage as the tv to audio out from tv to audio in the same wattage.
   The speakers if you buy can only be the same wattage as the same wattage as the same wattage as the tv to audio out.
   The ones in on amp then wire up the speakers if you dont go this route the speakers.
   The speakers hook audio in the speakers hook audio out from tv to audio in on amp then wire up the tv to audio out from tv to audio in on.
