jamarengo asked:

When I see a price listed for an HDTV, excluding taxes, what add-on charges could I expect for cables etc.? I’m planning on buying at Best Buy but input about other retailers is welcome as well.

The monster cables at best buys prices check with one of your friends and tigerdirect these places often significantly trump best buys prices online first never buy cables you are talkinig about very long cable runs no signal either is received or not or van you are talkinig about very long cable runs.

Things you may want to consider:

      1. Surround sound.
      2. Bluray
      3. HDMI cables, while even cheaper cables can transmit a goo picture you need nicer cables to do good picture and 7.1 hd audio.
      4. Surge Supressor. Those long white strips are junk, I (highly) reccomend a good Tripplite surge. That will run you about $99 for an Isobar
