    I have the TX-42F430S with the PS3 connected with HDMI at 1080p. The MOVIE mode setting on the tv has a default picture setting of BRIGHTNESS 42, CONTRAST 58, SATURATION 68, HUE 49. Which makes the blacks too black and colors exploded. I used the DVE dvd with the color bars and THX blue filter glasses, and found out that the movie mode was way wrong. The pitcher setting should be at 50% color temp warm. My question is what is your default movie picture settings.

    An hd ready lcdtv with native resoution of 1440×900p very close to get dvi to hdmi connection have to 1080p my only gripes is no hdmi connection have to 1080p my only gripes is no.
