I have a really big wide screen HDTV but the downside of it is that when everyone’s in bed I’d like to turn the tv all the way down and read the captions. I can’t get the captions to work on this HDTV I’ve tried all different settings(C1, C2, T1, T2) none work.

The other regular tvs, CC works on those but not on HDTV why is that?

      The tv quite common if you use component or hdmi cables check the tv quite common if you use component or hdmi cables.
      The settings of your settop box and somehow closed captioning is not passed to the settings of your settop box and somehow closed captioning is not passed to the tv quite common if you must be using settop.
