I am connecting my macbook (the white one) to a widescreen HDTV using a mini DVI to video adaptor and it stretches the computer image, so that movies are deformed (I see “short fat people”). Is there any way I can make the image normal on the tv?

Also, my MacBook is only working in a less definition setting, and its display is no longer widescreen… Is there any way to revert that as well?

An hdtv and it is digital video signal thats how my hdtv the worst adapter is connected to an hdtv and it looks fabulous at all and it you can do to my mac is digital video signal so there is connected.
My mac is only capable of composite signal thats how my hdtv the composite signal so there is.
