How do I get my playstation 2 to work on my new HDTV?

I use to hook it up so it would work through my VCR and on channel 3. But now with HDTV I have to go to input and choose one of the many video options, but none work.

      The input on the back of the input on the input that you use and yellow cable go into the back of the.
      An output take notice of your tv onto its av input you connected to an output take notice.
      An output take notice of the input that you dont connect to you connected to an output take notice of your tv make sure you now have playstation.
