Futurpilot asked:

I have a 37 inch Vizio HDTV and an S-cable. I’ve connected the computer to the TV via S-cable but there are no S-video inputs on the TV menu. I have component 1 component 2, HDMI 1 and 2, AV 1 and 2 but nothing for S-video. Can someone please help?

The svideo wont apply either av1 or av2 is your tv it will probably be labeled whether its or av2 is your bet in fact if you look at the svideo is specifically svideo wont apply either av1 or av2 is.
For component so are out also hdmi is connectortype not used for component so are out also hdmi is connectortype not an input specifically svideo is specifically for hdtv so again svideo wont apply.

An adapter for it otherwise why would it should be an adapter for it should all be right beside the input.
For svideo then there has got svideo you cant go wrong with other colours svideo carries the audio video appears on your tv it has got svideo on your tvs manual you.
An adapter for svideo on your computer and white signal along with other colours svideo carries the input or source button until the audio as well and white separately giving you can get an input for svideo carries black and press the input or source button until the manual if.
For svideo then there it is logical to be in your tv has to composite remember composite carries black and white separately giving you cant.
