I know HDTV’s are notorious for their built in speakers sound quality, so I was just wondering if there was one out there with some good, ready to go speakers.
If someone could just tell me 1 HDTV with better than average sound quality, they get best answer. I’m fully aware that a home theater sound system sounds better than a TV’s internal speakers.

   Notorious??? maybe for not being very good, the TV manufacturers put all the research and development into the picture, im a pro installer and at least 75% of people get a tv and either add it too or get a surround sound system with it, therefore the speakers in the tv arent used, this being said, Mitsubishi, makes a few 1080p lcd tvs with 16 speaker full surround, it sounds ok but still not as good a real 5.1 or 7.1, cheers

   For movies or gaming you are going to use this tv for movies or gaming you are.
   For movies or gaming you are going to want surround sound.
